I finally sent in my applications to a couple of craft fairs.
I hope that I was not too late for it. The one I really hope to get in is the DIY Street Fair in Ferndale. I vended it last year for the first time with a friend and it was a huge success, so I would be incredibly stupid to not try again! This time I applied to do it by myself. This will make my year if I can get in again!
The second craft fair I applied to is the Buckham Alley Fair in Flint. I have vended shows in Flint before a few times, but I’ve never done this outdoor event. I’d love it if I can get in, especially since this event is before the 3-day DIY Street Fair. I can be a little more prepared, and get a better idea of what will fly off the table.
I have no idea when I will hear the news if I get a spot at either fair, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

My shop is on vacation mode and it won’t be opened back up until I am back from my road trip. You’ll just have to wait to make a purchase until Sunday, May 6th. I’m sorry for any inconvenience!

This is a bit last minute, but I had trouble with the whole uploading video process.
Okay, well, remember when I said that I made an order from wishcandy’s etsy shop? Well, I like to make videos of me opening packages to show others what to expect if they choose to order from etsy. I think there is a term for this, but let’s just call this promotion.

All prints are now finally in stock! Now is the best time to snag them because the shop will be closing in two weeks! I’m going on a very long trip and the store will be closed for a month or two!

I have finally gotten around to making another purchase on etsy. I bought more artwork, and I’m expecting to receive 3 prints by wishcandy.
She’s going on a road trip soon and will be closing her shop for at least a month, and maybe a little longer because she’s moving. But I think people should head over to her shop right now before she closes it April 1st.

I was featured in an Etsy email today!
I wouldn’t have known if my friend Casey did not tell me about it!
The email was about shopping locally… and there was my “I love you” piece under the Detroit category. How awesome!

It’s done! I have updated my etsy shop after months and months since the last craft fair that I vended. I feel good that it’s done, but I still feel terrible for being so lazy. I can say that I’m incredibly proud of my photography. I hope it will just sell everything because my product descriptions are all weird and I feel dumb. Some are just completely simple and some are very reminiscent of infomercials.
